Live, Laugh, Die - Another Mediocre Podcast

What the world needs now is another mediocre podcast hosted by white men. And boy do I have great news....This is the inceptive episode of a project with my friend Jordan discussing some of the finer pieces of the Zach Braff chunk of life: your twenties and thirties. Enjoy.

Jordan is a long time friend to whom I owe a great deal of gratitude. We decided the best way to stay in touch after his recent move to Dallas was to work on a podcast we’d always said we would do but never actually acted on.
We are doing several things that I hope are valuable with this project. Where possible, we are linking out to people and studies smarter than us that we reference in the show. Misinformation is rampant and neither of us want to contribute to the problem. Also, we are focusing on things we are passionate about or afraid of. These conversations are the ones you have on long trips with your best friend. We want to dig into the struggles that come with stumbling around in early adulthood and discuss failures and successes we’ve had in an effort to help each other out. This first episode discusses the value of boosting your friends, whether we are built to know this many people (Dunbar’s Number), we touch briefly on the Big Five Personality Traits and perhaps most importantly, our starter bar setup for Jordan’s new house:

Redemption Rye Whiskey-$20

Botanist Gin- $40

Svedka Vodka- $20

Dolin Vermouth- $?

Agnostura bitters- $6

Jigger-$15

Metal shaker tin and strainer-$20

Vermouth-$15-20

Cool Rum-$20-30

Red Wine White Wine

Lemons and Limes

We will be posting weekly, and not every single one will have a blog, but the bigger episodes will have research that will be posted alongside the video for anyone wanting more. Thanks for listening :)
